*Zakat and Sadaqat Institute Successfully Completes Monthly Feeding Program at UR Huye Campus*
On September 23, 2024, the Zakat and Sadaqat Institute (ZSI) successfully organized its monthly feeding program at the University of Rwanda’s Huye Campus. The event, known as *Alaqah*, brought together Muslim and non-Muslim students to share a meal and foster a sense of brotherhood, unity, and community spirit.
The *Alaqah* program serves as an opportunity for new students to be welcomed into the student community, fostering connections and promoting inclusivity. The day was filled with joy and warmth as students shared not only food but also a sense of togetherness and mutual respect.
The new Muslim students, in particular, expressed their gratitude to ZSI for organizing the event, which helped them feel part of the broader campus community. The atmosphere was one of love, respect, and brotherliness, aligning with ZSI’s mission to foster positive social interactions and build lasting relationships within and beyond the Muslim community.
ZSI is dedicated to continuing its monthly *Alaqah* program as a way to promote peace, understanding, and unity among students from all backgrounds. We thank everyone who participated in this successful event and look forward to future gatherings that further strengthen the bonds within our diverse student community.
